It has been an interesting few weeks with all of the natural and man-made disasters. Stress management is important not only for those who have lost everything to Mother Earth’s wrath, but also the responders and the spectators. Many who are simply watching television may experience the same levels of stress as those who actually dealt with the storm. They may even develop PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). So what do you do to manage stress? I used to practice yoga, sit in the steam room at the gym, massage therapy /spa days, and ride my bicycle. I have been a little lazy with working out, but I do make it to a spa often. I also burn some incense and meditate. If you haven’t tried meditation, you should. Now my ultimate stress reliever is traveling. There are so many ways that you can deal with stress. I’ll share what I do in my next post.
